Land of Sun and Sea, the Algarve has privileged natural and weather conditions.
Located in the South of Portugal, at the southwest tip of Europe, it enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year. It is proud to have the best weather conditions in all of Europe.
The Algarve is the most favoured region in Portugal and one of the most stable in the world, having the highest sun exposure values in Europe and hardly any rain.
Throughout the year the temperature is quite agreeable with the exception of summer, when they are quite high. The weather of the Algarve is influenced by the European Continent, the north of Africa, The Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean.

The Coastline of the Algarve is over 200 km in extension and more than 70% of it consists of natural reservations.
Long dunes and lagoons dominate the East Coast pattern while the Central Coast is rich in sheltered beaches and picturesque cliffs. The sharp cliffs and high waves are predominant in the West Coastline.
The rich and varied gastronomy of the Algarve is also one of its calling cards, bringing together recipes from the interior of the region and procedures of the shoreline where fish and seafood are abundant.
