Founded by Ricardo Taveira, certified instructor by IKO – International Kiteboarding Organization – Sofia Teles, also a IKO certified instructor, Marco Cortez and Tamara LandÃn, radical sports monitor, South Adventures is a company that is specialized in one of today’s most successful sports: Kite Surf.
Our offer is intended for all sorts of sportspeople: from absolute beginners to more experienced kiteboarders who want to explore unique and deserted spots.
The Algarve is probably the area of the country that has the best conditions for practicing Kite Surf. Not only are the average annual temperatures extremely enjoyable but we also can Kite Surf with all wind directions in a normally calm sea and surrounded by stunning landscapes.
Furthermore, South Adventures is able to organise Kite Trips and provide transport for our clients, by boat, to the deserted and ideal islands in Ria Formosa.
For those who come from abroad, South Adventures has protocols with several hotels in the region, and you can select rooms that range from two-star apartments to five-star resorts. Transportation to the chosen practice site, as well as to and from the airport is also provided.
For all those who still have some adrenalin available, South Adventures can organise Surf trips or surf classes, wakeboard, water ski, sailing, canoeing, mountain biking, rappel, paintball, slide, trekking on the hills of the Algarve, etc…
